Las Cataratas del Iguazú: Did not disappoint!!

I have been anticipating this leg of the trip since I very first thought about going to Argentina: The Iguazú Falls. It is an enormous system of astounding waterfalls bordering 3 countries and fed by two rivers. It has more than 200 waterfalls in the system. And they are just amazing. Words cannot describe.

I took a guided tour of both Brazilian and Argentinian sides, plus a boat ride directly under a section on the Argentinian side. I didn’t take photos on the boat ride, for obvious reasons, but I did pay for the professional video they hit you up for after the tour. Hopefully there is a segment or two to share (tbd).

Bottom line: It was everything I could have hoped for. Such an amazing privilege to see this natural wonder.

And now: photos and a little video:

The boat ride! I captured these from the video stream. The camera person asks over and over, “Are you ready for a big shower? Who is ready for a big shower?”
